Paul Robertson

Paul Robertson is a former excutive of Tennessee Council for the Deaf, Deaf-Blind and Hard of Hearing. He had the responsibility for ensuring that state and local public programs and services are accessible to deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened, and Deaf-Blind citizens. TCDDBHH coordinated communication, information, public awareness, and advocacy services through six regional community service centers. The centers assisted the Division of Rehabilitation Services by providing services that complement those offered by Vocational Rehabilitation staff. TCDDBHH strived to open new avenues which will lead to equal opportunities for Tennesseans who are deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened or deaf-blind. The centers are located in Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Johnson City, and Jackson.

Professionally and voluntarily Paul was either currently serving or has served on numerous boards and advisory boards for organizations relating to Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing including Tennessee Association of the Deaf (TAD), Knoxville Center of the Deaf, Knoxville Chapter of TAD. He was a past President of the Tennessee Association of the Deaf. He currently serves on EARS (Emergency Awareness & Readiness Services for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing) on behalf of TCDDBHH and 6 TN centers.

Paul is from Knoxville, Tennessee and enjoyed traveling include the Conference businesses for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, hiking in the Smokies, and collects the collectible machines and posters.


Paul M. Robertson is a Mac user since 1986 when he got his first Macintosh Plus at Rochester Institute of Technology. He also is the Mac expert and consults the people for buying the Apple products, and software. He has acknowledged accessibility for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing people for the state of Tennessee.
